Roaring Gap Attic Addition

Roaring Gap Attic Addition

Sometimes our smallest projects are our biggest successes. This shed dormer attic addition certainly fits that mould. The owners approached us to help them redesign a cramped attic bathroom and try to gain some additional storage space. When the design was complete, we were able to create two full bathrooms, expand a very small bedroom and renovate the existing attic bunk room. The results were far beyond the expectations.

Historic Reeves Theater

Historic Reeves Theater

The Reeves Theater was originally opened as a 700-seat art-deco movie theater in 1941. It was fully operational until 1973, and later reopened as the Elk Twin until 1994.  By then, the Reeves interior and façade were in desperate need of repair.  In 2013, Debbie Carson and Chris Groner purchased the Reeves, and hired West Depot Architecture to oversee the upcoming renovations to this awesome historic structure. The property recently went on the market, and I was glad to get a glimpse of how timeless it has remained. The lot features have grown into what we had hoped and live oaks are still thriving....

The new plans included the addition of a 22,000 square foot 3-story education building, a 560 person sanctuary and a common connector to their existing Christian Life Center (multi-purposed facility). The Master Plan was unanimously adopted by the...
