Joe Seipel-Parks, Architect

After receiving his Masters of Architecture from the Savannah  College of Art and Design, Joe spent nine years practicing architecture in the heart of historic Beaufort, South Carolina. In 2009, Joe and his family moved back to their home town of Elkin, NC. At this time, Joe established West Depot Architecture to offer a wide range of architectural consulting services to the Yadkin Valley region of North Carolina and beyond.

Joe says, “I focus on sustainable design practices while turning clients’ programs into cohesive, site adaptive and relevant responses. In every project I evaluate the life cycle cost of systems and materials while keeping maintenance and the end-user in mind. My experience has taught me that most projects are a careful balance of evaluating the project’s potential, assessing the client’s goals and working within a budget.

I enjoy  working with individuals who want the most out of their relationships. Someone who wants to see their ideas brought to life and someone open to the possibilities of integrating sustainable design features into their everyday experiences. If you have an appreciation for art and design and are interested in pursuing that appreciation into a built form, West Depot Architecture can help you take your ideas to the next step.”

Joe Seipel-Parks currently carries a license to practice architecture in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Joe is NCARB certified and has extended reciprocity of licensure to other states, upon request.
